Yes I agree there as well... I have a couple thoughts on how to approach it ... just need to get there in my head if you know what I mean lol! Something about a smooth finish speaks to me as well ; ).... as someone who’s done a fair bit of commissions I was also really looking forward to minimal stenciling lol! Thanks for following the thread 👍🏻

the texture makes it so much better, i think! looks good!
Thanks buddy... Yes I'm going for a very subtle approach. I was really on the fence with the texture however you know how anal some of us get w/ accuracy LOL! As always thanks for watching!

Those are two different helmets. The ears are different and the Borden is located differently.
Hey Roger... That is indeed the same lid. The SS bust which was used as the hero for TM. That said, I'm plugging away at a few different texturing techniques...stay tuned ; )....

Perhaps Boba has multiple versions of the helmets the same as Din Djarin. Din’s helmet changes from shot to shot.

Are those screenshots from the same episode?

The shot from below, the right ear is not painted. The shot from the front straight on the ears are painted.

The Borden on each is different too, appears smaller on the shot from below and closer to the upper cheek.

Yes I totally understand what your saying and this is Ofcourse how we all figure things out however, from shot to shot, lighting, down regulation of lens etc are all things that can completely change color, texture and scale. Honestly I just don’t wanna get that fussy over it.

Texture is coming along..... am a bit cautious about doing too much. IMO there’s a fine line between what looks good and what seems sloppy.... that said I’m getting sound results that I’m pleased with using a subtle mix of 3m 77 and 3m 90.

Alright... so wraps up VaderRx armor... will be done with MF by mid week time permitting... I’m very pleased with how the colors came out. The texture, although I wasn’t a fan at first I have been converted lol! It brings a bit of depth where the minimal weathering falls shirt. Now for some final signature touches and this baby's a wrap!
