I recently received the MinuteFett deluxe lineage ESB restored helmet (from SE to screen ESB) with Luis’ new accurate interior… and while no helmet is perfect, this is all around the best helmet that I’ve ever owned and I don’t say that lightly.
It is incredibly well balanced, light and super thin like the original. However, the interior takes it to a level no one else has. He’s nailed the fiberglass cloth and chop. Each time I look at it I find something else that he noticed and applied.
The helmet retains all of the lineage paint transfer and details found on the lineage castings with the exception being that it’s obviously been removed in the areas that damage has been fixed. Most notably the killstripe area and the area with the temple crack that was fixed.
I hit it with some Tamiya Fine Surface Primer and took some quick photos:
