Hi everyone,

I recently received the MinuteFett deluxe lineage ESB restored helmet (from SE to screen ESB) with Luis’ new accurate interior… and while no helmet is perfect, this is all around the best helmet that I’ve ever owned and I don’t say that lightly.

It is incredibly well balanced, light and super thin like the original. However, the interior takes it to a level no one else has. He’s nailed the fiberglass cloth and chop. Each time I look at it I find something else that he noticed and applied.

The helmet retains all of the lineage paint transfer and details found on the lineage castings with the exception being that it’s obviously been removed in the areas that damage has been fixed. Most notably the killstripe area and the area with the temple crack that was fixed.

I hit it with some Tamiya Fine Surface Primer and took some quick photos:

I've got my blue/gray color I'm going to use for the outside. Going to go accurate on the platform colors too. What colors did you end up using on the inside? I'll make sure I do that first. Just didn't have time and wanted to see all the details primered lol

any navy or dark blue color should work. I had some floquil dark blue so I went with that. Platform color on the right side is the blue-gray primer color on the rest of the helmet. Left looks like it got nothing. Maybe left ear was already glued on when it was primered.

I used RAL 5003 for the one I made. Once dried looks pretty good. Then primer on it (which I never did before selling it)
