Hi everyone,

At Star Wars Celebration 2022 in Anaheim, Rancho Obi-Wan had an exhibit that included Gos Lopez’s RotJ Stunt Jetpack (#3).

This is the pack used for the fall down into the sarlacc pit.

There are photos of it in the gallery on TDH from years ago showing it in much better condition.

I took some quick photos with my iPhone to show you how it looks in its current state of continued degradation.

Check them out:

Poor thing has seen better days, unfortunately that's what can happen to foam latex. Its only going to get worse over time..I'm surprised how well its holding together though.

Yeah, poor thing... The jetpack stabilizer, the bottom vent and the bottom connector looks to be original parts, while the beacon is most likely cast or quickly machined.
