Boba fett life size bust, as seen in the mandalorian

Sideshow just opened up pre orders for the boba fett bust as seen in the mandalorian, not to be confused with his appearance in book of boba fett.


This appears to have the correct helmet and armor sculpt , and has legacy credited for the sculpt. Looks pretty awesome to me! But at a whopping 2k , compared to the din djarin which was 1.5k.

I'm trying to unload my ROTJ one for $1K so this at double is a no for me. I think I spent about $3000-3500 for the entire life size, mannequin and all.

The helmet should be the right one as I think they scanned the Sideshow ROTJ helmet to cast to Season 2 Boba helmets. I assume this is the same helmet with the damage and different paint. It looks to be based on the ROTJ one sitting behind me right now.

Negative, that helmet and the original sideshow , though similar base sculpt, have different mandible shape, different dent, and a lot sharper features including the turn signals.

I also tried offloading my bust as well but no bites lol

As I said on another collecting site, Sideshow has to be making these to order with an open ES and basically just waiting for someone with too much money to burn to snag one. I fell victim to it last year on the ROTJ bust when I got bored and decided it would look good behind me in my home office. It does, but not $1300 good. This sure doesn't look $2000 good...
