    Dallas FanExpo Pics

Yep, it was good to try out the Fett! This was only the second time I've had the suit on. I had a couple of malfunctions but it was all good! I liked taking pics with the kids the most!! I'll work on refining the Fett a little more, then I'll concentrate on trying to make some headway with the...

Looking Good! The putty shrinks so it takes several passes. I don't know what kind of primer you're using, most of the time I use a filler and sandable primer that fills in the imperfections and all low areas and then I can sand it all back to the smoothest surface possible.

    Most accurate boots?

Those are some good looking boots!! I think the rubber spikes are a good idea! The rubber will flex some if needed or if you bump something they would absorb the impact, that ability could make them a little more reliable to stay intact than the metal versions would!! I've hit something with my...

    Season 2 Mandalorian Armor

You use 5 micron powder, apply with a cotton ball or something similar, rub it into the surface and just seal it to get the shiny surface and protect it. It's the first time I've done the application, it's really pretty easy when you get to that stage! So, here's a YouTube link to a time lapse...

    Season 2 Mandalorian Armor

So, I've started on the armor pieces for the Season 2 Mandalorian. So far I've got most of the pieces finished except the gauntlets and the left thigh piece. I took the pics outside with the sun almost down. All of the pieces are the same color, they just look different due to the light angles...

    Gifted Boba Maker Helmet Repair/Paint-Up

Very Nice!! Glad to help... That helmet had to have taken one heck of a hit to crack up that much!! Since you have some unevenness of some of the surfaces around some of the cracks. It makes me wonder if the surface differences were caused by separation of the gelcoat from the fiberglass...

    Gifted Boba Maker Helmet Repair/Paint-Up

That's a good looking helmet there! Is it the lighting, or are there some slight ripples in the finish of the top front of it? I have a suggestion, if you can access the ends of the cracks, drill the smallest hole possible at the very ends of them. The holes will stop the cracks from continuing...

Sounds good, I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on the projects! I've got to re-paint the knees on my ROTJ Hero to get them to the correct color, their too orange now. Hopefully get to that soon. I haven't had the chance to get back to working on the Season 2 Mandalorian costume lately...
