Kidding, kidding, of course. Even though I'm an RotJ guy, I've done a handful of ESB commissions, including gauntlets. And while there are some really nice standard and upgraded flamethrower kits out there, this is one part (technically a group of parts) that hasn't ever really been TRULY...

Despite the fact that the ESB costume pales in comparison to RotJ in all regards, including the flamethrower, this is quite exciting (to some)! ;) Any continued progress on this?

Personally, when doing a layered helmet, I like the masking fluid to go on ONCE...meaning that by the time I'm pulling off the FINAL layer of masking, ALL layers are coming off at the same time. I hear what you mean about the stickiness of the masking fluid, so a trick I use is to take my carbon...

Interesting to see them all in one shot, to get a sense of their heights. Everyone but Logan wore 'a' version of the OT suit.

Excellent tutorial! When I started out, I was using a ton of pilot holes and jeweler's files to clear out the key slots. Yeah, THAT was time...spent. What would be REALLY nice is a place to purchase a set of the interior clips in one package!

For metal, I have two sets of Elstree ears (one ESB set and one RotJ set) and now the MinuteFett version. In resin, I have several sets that have been engineered to fit the 'lineage' ESB and, by extension, this RotJ (not recasts in any way). All of them fit both my 'lineage' ESB and this RotJ...

Delicious! Lucky you, with PP2 helmets basically falling out of your pockets… Couldn’t agree more. A funny thing happened when I received that MDF…could’ve done a variety of helmets. Went with PP2. And, while I always LIKED it, well enough…painting it causes you to slowly fall head over heels...

UPDATE! I’ve recently received a set of MinuteFett metal ears. New photos (potentially a standalone review of the ears themselves) will come this weekend. Great time to be a Boba Fett fan!
